Of love & remembrance

The past is a cliche of panoramic sights,
Lonely years of restless time,
A phoenix soars to dazzling heights,
With fleeting souls above azure skies,
Tell me Love, there must be you and I,
That live to win over life's emptiness,

Tell me - you and I are one.
The wind of change keeps blowing nigh,
What is left now are shadows and I,
Can your trust live within my heart ?
With all these changes we could start,
Tell me again, as I longed to hear,
Those sweet nothings - whisper it to my ear,
Awake or sleep I do not really care,
As long as you are there . . .

Even if only in my dreams,
And only on my mind.
